Nautilus sp; A living fossil, the Nautilus is related to squids and octopus.  It lives in deep water off the Great Barrier Reef where it rises to shallower water at night to scavenge mostly on dead fish.  Sometimes its shell is a gift from the sea we find on our beaches.  Part of the great mosaic of the Little Things That Matter in our oceans and all our natural world.
